Our client, a Canadian family-owned bakery, is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join their team.
This is a long-term opportunity through our agency for an experienced electrician who wants to build a career in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Shift: Afternoon – 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
- Install, inspect, replace, and repair industrial electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cables, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
- Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboards, meters, regulators, and reactors.
- Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic electrical control systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices as required.
- Support reliable operation of equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Journeyman experience or completion of an apprenticeship program.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing ladders, crawling, and working around industrial equipment.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, or other food-processing environments is highly preferred.

Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
