Buzz 'A' Beat piano studio is a premium early childhood music school offering creative piano based programs for babies, toddlers and young children (ages 0-8)
We are currently seeking an energetic, highly musical and experienced LEAD EARLY CHILDHOOD PIANO TEACHER to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach engaging piano-centered music classes for babies, toddlers and young children in group settings (up to 10 students)
- Lead interactive baby music classes including movement, singing, rhythm activities and sensory musical experiences
- Accompany children's songs through improvisation and chordal playing at the piano
- Perform short live musical pieces during classes to inspire listening and musical imagination
- Teach beginner piano skills following the studio's structured teaching method as children grow older
- Maintain a warm, positive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Demonstrate strong classroom leadership and the ability to manage group energy effectively
- Communicate professionally with parents and contribute to a high-quality learning experience
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience teaching piano to young children OR working in an early childhood music program
- Strong piano performance skills and confident sight-reading ability
- Ability to improvise and harmonize children's songs using chords
- Familiarity with common children's repertoire and early music education approaches
- Experience teaching group classes for babies or preschool-aged children is highly preferred
- High level of positive energy, creativity and emotional connection with children
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
