Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with additional experience in heavy equipment operation, industrial machinery, and mechanical systems. This role offers an opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles and machinery, providing essential services to ensure optimal performance and safety. Candidates with dealership experience and a broad skill set in mechanical and electrical systems are highly preferred. The position involves hands-on work, troubleshooting, and customer service, contributing to the overall success of our service department.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery as needed
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized maintenance tools to complete repairs
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex repairs
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on vehicles and industrial equipment
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic with dealership background preferred
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with industrial or heavy equipment maintenance is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate repair needs and solutions
- Knowledge of HVAC systems or additional certifications in welding or electrical work are considered a plus

Pay: $23.14-$46.07 per hour
