Job description:
MAC Financial Recovery has been operating in the debt buying industry for 17 years. The administrative assistant will work alongside the administrative team and play a key role in the success of the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for providing support to collection staff and management in order to achieve goals. The ideal candidate will support our collection staff by managing documentation, handling correspondence, updating debtor accounts, and ensuring compliance with all provincial and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative tasks including data entry and filing.
- Follow established frameworks to organize data and ensure consistency.
- Assist in maintaining office organization and efficiency by utilizing Microsoft Office.
- Ensure effective communication with team members and clients, demonstrating strong phone and email etiquette.
- Proofread documents to maintain accuracy and professionalism in all correspondence.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong computer skills and data entry experience
- Excellent clerical and administrative experience
- Attention to detail and meticulous nature is a valuable asset
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or office setting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Experience in a collection agency, legal firm, or financial environment is an asset
- Administrative diploma or related training is an asset
