Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Worker to join our cannabis processing team located in Salmon Arm. The ideal candidate will support cannabis processing and packaging operations in a fast-paced environment while ensuring products meet strict quality, sanitation, and safety standards. This position offers the opportunity to build valuable production experience while contributing to daily operations as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Perform cannabis packaging and processing duties
- Accurately weigh, sort, and prepare cannabis products for packaging and distribution
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas
- Conduct visual quality inspections to ensure products meet quality expectations
- Assist with inventory management, including counting and organizing materials
- Participate in training and ongoing compliance programs
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and Health Canada regulations during daily operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in production, packaging, processing, or related industries is considered an asset but is not required
- Basic math skills for weighing, counting, and quality checks
- Understanding of sanitation and hygiene procedures within a regulated production environment ( ProcessSafe certificate required )
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow detailed instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility
- Must be at least 19 years of age and eligible to work in Canada
- Must have no history of drug-related charges in accordance with Health Canada requirements
