Job Description Overview
UniverCell Canada is a growing company building its financial operations from the ground up. We are looking for a hands-on Financial Analyst / Senior Accountant who can take ownership of day-to-day accounting and bring structure, accuracy, and reliability to our financial processes.
This is not a basic data-entry role—you will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle and working closely with executive management.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) end-to-end.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Process payroll, including source deductions and recordkeeping.
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Monitor cash flow and proactively identify discrepancies.
- Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records.
- Ensure all data in QuickBooks is 100% accurate and properly categorized.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Practical, hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Mandatory).
- Strong, flawless understanding of debits/credits and reconciliations.
- Ability to work independently and take absolute ownership of tasks.
- High attention to detail and sharp problem-solving skills.
- Ability to clearly explain financial data to leadership.
- Note: Candidates must have a verifiable public LinkedIn profile matching their resume history.
What Will Set You Apart

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
