In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our diverse fleet of Ford and Freightliner trucks, Sprinter vans, skid steers, and other company equipment. Position Summary
The Journeyman/Woman Mechanic will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of Coverall's fleet and equipment, including:
- Ford trucks
- Freightliner trucks
- Sprinter vans
- Skid steer equipment
The successful candidate will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring our fleet operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing on all company vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, engine, transmission, and driveline issues.
- Complete commercial vehicle inspections and ensure fleet compliance with applicable regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles.
- Respond promptly to vehicle and equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and complete work orders accurately.
- Coordinate parts ordering and inventory while ensuring cost-effective repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with operations to schedule repairs and minimize service interruptions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency fleet repairs, if required.
Minimum Requirements:
· Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic / Journeyman Auto mechanic
· Minimum of 1 years experience
· Alberta Full Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
· Candidate will have to have own tools and will be given an annual tool allowance as well

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
