We are seeking a friendly and proactive Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform accurate cash handling procedures
- Provide product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and merchandising standards
- Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Manage time effectively to ensure smooth checkout processes during busy periods
- Support the team with inventory organization and stock replenishment as needed
- Ensure the store environment remains clean, organized, and inviting for shoppers
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail technology tools (experience with product demos or technical sales is a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills and time management to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly attitude
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Demonstrated professionalism in phone etiquette and customer interactions
- Multilingual capabilities are advantageous for serving a diverse customer base

Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour
