Zone-Tech Air is seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician – 313A Mechanic/Apprentice to join our team. Duties
- Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems across various commercial and industrial sites.
- Support plumbing and piping tasks related to HVAC systems using schematics and technical diagrams.
- Perform basic welding tasks to ensure secure connections and system integrity.
- Conduct routine inspections of boilers, mechanical components, and appliances to identify issues early.
- Aid in troubleshooting mechanical problems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Participate in maintenance activities including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts of HVAC equipment.
- Follow safety protocols during all operations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with senior technicians on complex repairs and system upgrades.
Skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an understanding of HVAC systems, boilers, plumbing, and appliance repair.
- Experience or familiarity with welding techniques and construction environments is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail during maintenance and repair tasks.
- Mechanical or mechanic experience preferred; willingness to learn on the job is essential.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Eagerness to develop expertise in HVAC systems through hands-on training and mentorship opportunities. Qualifications
- Ontario Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician 313A / or Apprenticeship
- Ontario Gas Fitter 1 of 2
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Capable of obtaining high level security clearance
- Strong customer service skills
