Wage Range: $20.00-$21.00 an hour (based on experience)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Operator I to join our Northern team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring precision and quality in the finishing process, working with advanced machining equipment and contributing to our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate lathe machining centers to process steel components with precision.
- Set up and maintain machinery, ensuring consistent production quality.
- Apply knowledge of diameter (Dia), TIR, and taper tolerancing to achieve exact specifications.
- Utilize tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, profilometers, and blueprints to inspect and verify product quality.
- Manage and run multiple machine centers efficiently, adhering to production schedules.
- Safely operate hoists and slings for material handling.
- Utilize computer software to monitor and adjust production processes.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to maintain high-quality standards and meet customer expectations.
What You’ll Need
- Experience with lathe machining centers is preferred.
- Strong understanding of machine setup and tolerancing (Dia, TIR, taper).
- Proficiency in using precision tools (micrometers, dial indicators, profilometers).
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T specifications.
- Experience with multiple machine centers and related computer software.
- Familiarity with hoists and slings for safe material handling.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
