Qualifications
This is the sort of thing you'll be responsible for:
· Plans and adapts the program/environment to meet the needs of individual children, and implements quality programming for children ages 0-12 years old in accordance with Ontario’s Pedagogy, “How Does Learning Happen”
· Provide support to all children in the classroom and understand each child’s specific needs to enable them to fully participate in activities
· Support All children (ASD, Social emotional, ADHD if needed) with emotional, physical, or behavioural problems and help them to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
· Establish and maintain collaborative, supportive relationships with parents/guardians, colleagues, and community professionals
· Work with professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and early interventionists as necessary.
· Embrace reflective practices that respect diversity, equity, and inclusion with all children, families, and colleagues
· Shares in the responsibility for planning, preparing and implementing stimulating, age-appropriate activities that encourage children’s creativity and learning and promote each child’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
· Shares responsibility for maintaining program equipment in good repair; assists with toy/equipment disinfecting
· A degree or diploma in early childhood education from a recognized college or university
· A current, valid member in good standing of the College of ECE’s or proof of enrolment in a Canadian College for Early Childhood
· Embrace reflective practices that respect diversity, equity, and inclusion with all children, families, and colleagues
· A strong voice that is a champion for our littles and their families, who can collaborate with existing staff / owner and create some kick awesome programming!
· Vulnerable sector criminal reference check (within the last six months) or ability to obtain VSCRC as a condition of employment
· Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C or ability to obtain same as a condition of employment
· Food Handlers Certificate is an asset.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
