LDC Precision Concrete is looking to hire skilled concrete form setters for our concrete crew in Ottawa. Our goal is to help you grow and provide you with an excellent platform to display and boost your skills within the services that LDC provides.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate form placement
- Construct and install formwork for concrete structures using hand and power tools
- Install rebar and reinforcement materials according to project specifications
- Remove and clean forms after concrete has dried.
- Moving materials to the worksite and ensuring all tools, machinery, and other equipment are safely set up.
- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, using hand and power tools.
- Working in an outdoor setting in a variety of weather conditions
- Assist with various construction tasks as directed by the supervisor
- Follow company Health and Safety Policy, workplace policies, procedures, and rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification:
- Proficiency in rebar installation, masonry and concrete forming techniques
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to commute to and from job sites.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as a part of a team.
