Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various office software. Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry tasks accurately
- Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring easy retrieval of documents
- Provide exceptional customer service support by addressing inquiries via phone, email, or in person
- Support administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, faxing, and mailing documents
- Maintain vessel tracking black box system.
Experience
- Prior office experience is preferred, especially in clerical or administrative roles
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Sage or other bookkeeping software is advantageous
- Strong computer skills including data entry, document proofreading, and file management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and support experience
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with attention to detail and accuracy
- French speaking would be preferred but not required
Pay: $16.70-$22.00 per hour
