Job Summary
Art Fest Canada is a Vancouver-based arts and lifestyle platform connecting local artists, brands, workshops, family experiences, and community events.
We are seeking a creative, outgoing, and organized Part-Time Event & Community Partnership Coordinator to support our upcoming Art Fest projects and future lifestyle events across Vancouver and Richmond.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building local partnerships, supporting creative events, and working with artists, vendors, sponsors, family brands, and community organizations. The successful candidate will assist with partnership outreach, event planning, vendor coordination, social media content, sponsorship materials, and on-site event support.
This position offers flexible part-time hours and is a great opportunity for someone interested in arts, lifestyle events, marketing, partnerships, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Contact and follow up with local brands, vendors, sponsors, art organizations, workshop partners, and community groups
- Support partnership outreach through email, phone calls, Instagram DM, and in-person visits
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, artists, workshop hosts, and local business partners
- Assist in preparing sponsorship decks, proposals, presentations, and partnership materials
- Create and edit social media content using Canva, AI tools, and other simple design platforms
- Support content ideas, community engagement, and local partnership development
- Coordinate project schedules, vendor lists, contact records, and event timelines
- Assist with event planning, setup, logistics, and on-site coordination
- Communicate with vendors, partners, and internal team members to ensure event details are organized and completed on time
- Help research local brands, family businesses, art organizations, workshops, and community opportunities in Vancouver and Richmond
- Maintain organized records of outreach, partnership conversations, event details, and project updates
- Provide friendly and professional communication with partners, vendors, guests, and community members
Skills
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in PR, sales, marketing, event coordination, partnership development, or community outreach is preferred
- Familiar with Canva and/or AI content tools
- Graphic design skills are a strong asset
- Organized, proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable contacting local businesses, vendors, sponsors, and creative partners
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up professionally
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable communicating with new people
- Good aesthetic sense and interest in creative content, arts, lifestyle, and events
- Familiarity with Vancouver and Richmond lifestyle, family, and community culture is a plus
- Experience with kids, family brands, workshops, art-related projects, or community events is highly preferred
- 3–5 years of related experience is preferred, but strong candidates with relevant skills and attitude will also be considered

- Approximately 10–20 hours per week

- Some remote work may be possible, but the candidate should be available for local outreach, meetings, and on-site event support when needed.
