Title: Machine Operator - Roll-Forming Set-Up Operator

Reports to: Plant Supervisor
Job Summary
We are a manufacturing supplier to the window and door industry seeking a dynamic individual to join our production team in the roll forming department
Summary of essential job functions:
· Set up forming rolls on a 1 ½” shaft Roll- Forming Mill, with typical 16 passes.
· Operate and maintain Roll-forming machines.
· Perform tooling change over to set up the machine to produce different profiles/shapes.
· Perform quality checks on product being manufactured.
· Meet objectives and KPI’s by ensuring efficient and safe operation.
· Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Minimum 2 years experience in setting up Roll-Forming machines.
· Flexible on shift times and overtime as required.
· Must be able to read a measuring tape.
· Must be able to read a digital caliper.
· Able to move heavy materials manually or using a hoist.
· Forklift experience is an asset but not immediately required.
· Mechanical aptitude and general knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.
· Attention to detail
