At S4 Entertainment, we bring live events to life through top-tier audio-visual production. From high-end weddings and intimate social gatherings to small and large-scale corporate conferences, we deliver clean setups and flawless technical execution. We are looking for reliable, adaptable Audio Visual Technicians with a solid general foundation in live sound, basic video routing, and room lighting design.
What You’ll Do
- Setup & Strike: Transport, unload, set up, and break down AV equipment (speakers, audio consoles, wireless mics, video displays, switchers, and lighting rigs).
- Lighting & Room Aesthetics: Set up stage washes for corporate panels and presenters, as well as high-quantity fixture setups to transform room atmospheres (uplighting, accent lights, ambient washes).
- Live Operation: Run live sound, manage video presentations, and control lighting for weddings, corporate meetings, and social events.
- Cable & Safety Management: Maintain clean cable runs, secure cable taping (gaffing), neat tech tables, and organized equipment cases.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve audio feedback, video signal issues, or lighting/DMX control issues during setups and live events.
- Client & Venue Interaction: Represent S4 Entertainment professionally on-site, communicating effectively with venue staff, event organizers, and clients.
What We’re Looking For
Lighting:
- Experience setting up stage washes for stage speakers, panels, and live entertainment.
- Hands-on experience setting up full-room look transformations using a high quantity of lighting fixtures (e.g., extensive wireless/wired uplighting, ambient washes, and fixture patching/addressing).
- Understanding of basic DMX lighting control, power distribution for lighting rigs, and neat cabling for fixture runs.
Audio:
- Basic understanding of signal flow and operating digital or analog audio mixers (e.g., Behringer X32, line mixers).
- Experience setting up and troubleshooting wireless microphone systems (handhelds, lapels/headsets) and media playback feeds.
Video:
- Knowledge of basic video signal flow (HDMI, SDI), connecting laptops to displays/projectors, and aspect ratios.
- Familiarity with video switchers and multi-screen display routing or tiling setups.
General Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in live event AV, staging, or production.
- Strong professional demeanor with excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and early mornings depending on event schedules.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
