Overview
We are seeking a skilled Landscape Construction Team Member to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on diverse landscape projects, utilizing a variety of construction techniques and tools to create and restore outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and landscaping, with the ability to read blueprints, operate heavy equipment, and perform detailed finishing work. Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of landscape construction projects, including site preparation, grading, planting, and installation of features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work for various landscape features
- Install drainage systems, irrigation systems, and plumbing components as needed
- Conduct restoration work to repair or improve existing landscape structures
- Install fixtures such as cabinets or other outdoor structures when required
- Apply caulking, painting, or sealing techniques for weatherproofing and finishing touches
- Assist with construction estimating and project planning under supervision
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for landscape projects
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and construction painting is highly desirable
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus
- Strong understanding of landscaping principles combined with construction skills
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and schematics
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Valid <PERSON> license or relevant certifications preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $20.00-$37.00 per hour
