K&D Logging is in search of a Shop Labourer to join their team on a seasonal, full-time basis, working on projects located around Grande Prairie, AB. The company has leveraged their regional success to expand into logging and mechanical maintenance operations on Vancouver Island as well as diversifying into Civil Construction in the Okanagan.

The Opportunity
K&D Logging Ltd., a Meraki Resources Company, is currently looking for an experienced Shop Labourer for Grande Prairie, AB.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean shop areas, which includes (but not limited to); sweeping up debris, cleaning equipment, picking up garbage, moving materials, rolling up cords, hoses etc.
- Keeping the yard clean and organized
- Including assisting mechanics in repairs as needed
- Washing company assets
- Delivering and picking up parts;
- Pick up parts and/ or checking equipment in & out.
Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined; experienced working in a mechanical shop or warehouse environment is an asset;
- Work well with tools/equipment;
- Self-starter and motivated;
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written;
- Able to work in a team environment or independently with little supervision;
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis;
- Reliable transport to get to and from work;
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License;
- Able to work Monday to Friday and weekends as needed.
