Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Helper to assist with the day-to-day production of signs and related products. The successful candidate will support the production team with preparing materials, operating basic shop equipment, assembling signs, maintaining a clean work area, and completing orders accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the production and assembly of signs, graphics, displays, and related products.
- Prepare, measure, cut, and organize materials as directed.
- Assist with vinyl application, mounting, laminating, and finishing.
- Operate basic hand tools and production equipment safely after training.
- Help with packaging, labeling, loading, and preparing finished orders for delivery or installation.
- Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Follow production schedules and instructions from supervisors.
- Handle materials carefully to prevent damage and waste.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Perform other general shop duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a sign shop, printing, manufacturing, construction, or similar environment is an asset.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials as required.
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
