We are seeking a future-focused individual to take on a Sales Associate role. Our firm is a proud Authorized Representative of Rogers Communications, and we are tasked to expand our consumer base through educational and genuine customer engagements.
As an entry-level Sales Associate, you will be responsible for representing our company and clients in a professional, competent, and compliant manner. Your main objective is to drive product and service sales, expand the client's presence in the designated market, and strengthen the relationship between the client and the consumer through consultative, personalized sales techniques. This Sales Associate role is for a candidate seeking a highly visible, in-person role in an organization and interested in managing the entire customer sales cycle.
Responsibilities of a Sales Associate:
- Meet with prospective customers directly to review their current needs, deliver product/service recommendations, determine eligibility, and close sales
- Educate consumers on the benefits of Rogers Communications products and services
- Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing Rogers Communications customers by fostering long-term relationships
- Assist the sales and marketing teams in analyzing new trends in consumer habits and general market shifts to maximize sales opportunities
- Track and report on individual and team performance to meet and exceed Rogers Communications business standards
- Provide feedback to leadership & the Sales Associate team and participate in improving sales, marketing, and customer service practices
Requirements for a Sales Associate:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No previous experience required as this is an entry-level role; however, prior sales, telecom, or customer service experience is an asset
- Student mindset with a passion for learning from industry leaders to set a strong foundation in this sales career
- Ability to think critically, adapt on the spot, and solve sales problems for customer satisfaction
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
**Full-time Sales Associates must be comfortable working directly with the public at the North York main office location and in assigned field territories. Authorized Sales Associates earn on average between $40,000-$50,000/year, as this is a commission-based position with performance-based bonuses.
We are an independent Authorized Dealer of Rogers Communications. This position has no employment relationship with Rogers.
