We are a community pharmacy group that has owned and operated independent pharmacies for over 30 years in Lower Mainland and are looking for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant for our New Westminster location.

The successful candidate will have the following:
- Pharmacy Assistant certification is preferred but not mandatory,
- WinRx software experience is an asset,
- Outgoing, with strong communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail,
- Ability to work quickly and accurately,
- Ability to work as a team player and have a team approach,
- Great computer skills,
- Extensive knowledge of Private insurance, Federal and Provincial prescription benefits, as well as MARs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prescription intake and drop-off,
- Customer service: focus on the achievement of pharmacy excellence in the areas of customer service, workflow efficiencies, and inventory management; guide patients in OTC/supplement sections and answer their questions,
- Counting, packaging medications and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements,
- Typing, checking, processing payments, insurance claims, and ensuring billing accuracy,
- Adhering to the company’s systems and procedures manual,
- Maintaining an efficient flow in the pharmacy,
- General assistance to the pharmacy in other duties.
Required Canadian Retail Pharmacy Assistant experience 4 years
Compensation $21 to $24 per hour based on experience and skills
