Job Summary:
Brentwell Construction is looking for a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team for ongoing civil and residential construction projects. We’re seeking a reliable and safety-conscious operator with experience in excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to complete tasks such as trenching, digging, and grading
- Perform site prep and backfilling according to plans and specifications
- Work around utilities with care and accuracy
- Load/unload materials (soil, gravel, debris)
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and report hazards
- Assist with other duties on site as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of excavator operation experience
- Experience in civil and/or residential construction required
- Ability to read and follow site plans and grade stakes
- Knowledge of safe equipment operation and OSHA standards
- Valid driver’s license
- Equipment certifications a plus
