We are seeking a dedicated and organized Service Appointment Coordinator to join our automotive dealership team. Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule service appointments for customers efficiently and accurately
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle’s service needs and estimated completion times
- Upsell additional services or maintenance options when appropriate to enhance customer value
- Handle cash transactions and process payments securely and accurately
- Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Maintain detailed records of appointments, customer interactions, and service histories
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist with inventory management related to parts or promotional materials as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in dealership environments or automotive service centers is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience is a plus for better understanding of vehicle repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Sales aptitude with the ability to upsell services tactfully and effectively
- Cash handling experience ensuring accuracy and security in transactions
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills to manage scheduling systems and maintain detailed records
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes enhances communication with technicians and customers
