Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Bed Maker and Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests or residents. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in a professional environment.
Duties
- Make beds to ensure they are neat, tidy, and inviting according to established standards
- Perform general housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning
- Restock linens, toiletries, and supplies as needed to ensure guest or resident comfort
- Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols during all cleaning activities
- Assist with laundry duties when required
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Adhere to hotel or facility policies regarding hygiene and safety standards
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain high cleanliness standards
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
