We are seeking a Junior Sous Chef to be an integral part of the culinary leadership team at Eloise. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will help shape the menu, oversee kitchen operations, and mentor a talented team of chefs. Your role will be essential in upholding the high standards of quality and creativity that define Eloise.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and consistency during service.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Oversee kitchen inventory, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development, testing, and execution.
- Train, develop, and inspire kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
Requirements
- At least 1 of experience in a similar role, preferably in upscale dining.
- Exceptional culinary skills, with a focus on innovation and precision.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Valid Food Handler’s Certification is required.
