Substitute Educational Assistant
Various locations in Red Deer
Casual Monday - Friday
Must be available on short notice Monday to Friday.
Must be willing to work at all grade levels, providing mostly behavioural support to students.
Desirable qualifications and attributes:

Preference given to those with an educational assistant certificate, social work diploma, rehabilitation diploma or students of a Bachelor of Education program that have completed at least one year of studies.

Experience or education in working with children with complex needs and behaviours preferred

Comfortable working independently, with minimal guidance.

Good problem solving skills.

Able to lift and provide toileting assistance to students from Pre-K to high school.
