Literacy & Writing Teacher (Grades 3–10)
Growth Generation Academy is seeking an experienced Literacy & Writing Teacher to join our online teaching team.
This position is ideal for educators who enjoy helping students develop strong writing, reading, and communication skills through small-group instruction.
About the Program
Our Great Writing program is a structured writing development program designed for students in Grades 3–10.
The curriculum, lesson structure, assessments, homework system, and teaching resources have already been developed. Teachers are not expected to create a curriculum from scratch.
We are looking for teachers who enjoy teaching writing and are comfortable working within an established program while bringing their own teaching strengths and professional experience.

- Small groups (typically 2–4 students)

Ideal Candidates
We would love to hear from applicants who have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- English Language Arts
- Literacy
- Reading Intervention
- Reading Specialist Programs
- ESL / ELL Education
- Writing Instruction
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
- Experience teaching students in Grades 3–10
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfortable teaching in an online environment
- Reliable, organized, and responsive
- Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT) are strongly encouraged to apply, but other qualified educators will also be considered
Nice to Have
- Literacy AQ qualifications
- Reading Specialist qualifications
- ESL qualifications
- Experience teaching writing in small-group settings
Compensation
Competitive hourly compensation based on qualifications and experience.
