Based out of Concord, ON, we specialize in high-quality chain-link materials, clear project guidance, and top-tier installations. We handle all design, material supply, and utility locates so our installation crews can focus on doing great work.
The Role
We are looking for hardworking, reliable Fence Sales and installation Helper to join our team.
Whether you are a trade professional with general construction or handy man, carpentry, landscaping experience, we are willing to train the right people on our specific chain-link installation processes in warehouse or on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and secure fencing materials and equipment at the shop and job sites.
- Installation & Construction: Work with installation crews to set posts, stretch wire, assemble fittings, and build chain-link fences and gates.
- Tools & Finishing: Use power tools, hand tools, and precision cutting equipment for clean finishing work. Dig post holes and footings manually when necessary (machinery used for major digs).
- Warehouse & Shop Support: Assist with shop organization, stock inventorying, and material staging. Operate a forklift to safely unload freight(not mandatory), move materials, and store heavy fencing inventory. Assist with warehouse moves and shop relocations within the local area as required. (Note: Daily duties may evolve as the business grows.)
- Safety & Communication: Follow job site safety standards and communicate clearly with crew members.
Warehouse & Shop Support Duties
- Flexible Duties: As our business grows and operates, daily duties may evolve beyond site installation.
- Assist with shop organization, stock inventorying, and material staging.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Trade Experience: Prior hands-on experience in fencing, landscaping, carpentry, sign installation, or general handyperson/construction work preferred qualification but not mandatory.
- Basic Tools: Must possess basic hand tools and personal power tools suitable for construction work. Having your own truck, cargo van or reliable vehicle to travel to job site preferred.
- Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting 50+ lbs, working outdoors in varied weather conditions, and handling physical labor.
- Work Ethic: Punctual, self-motivated, attentive to detail, and eager to learn.
- Smartphone: Capable of running workplace apps and taking site photos.
