We are a commercial, wood frame, general contracting and manufacturing company located in Chilliwack B.C. We have been in business for 13 years with a steady, and regular client base.
About the Job:
The Shop Foreman works closely with the Production Manager and other team members.
This person is responsible for assisting and efficiently executing all critical building components including: final dimensions, framing quality and key wall assemblies in sequencing as per Arch. or MEP Issued for Production drawings.
They will aid in managing and executing these day to day tasks. This position is tools on.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Must have ~10 years relevant experience in wood frame construction including successful project, co-worker and similar examples.

Physical
Tools on : based around the critical tasks list for optimizing manufacturing efficiencies. Oversee a crew: take on a critical project/task. Work with the Production Manager and Project Coordinator closely.
Computer Skills
- Limited is Okay: managing a Microsoft Outlook Calendar is required.

- Monday to Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm
+ coffee and lunch
* Weekends as needed

- Same location every day with limited known exceptions.

- Secondary School (preferred)
