Overview
We are seeking a CNC Laser Operator/Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and programming CNC laser cutting machines and press brake equipment to produce high-quality metal parts.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC laser cutting machines, press brake machines, to produce metal parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings.
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Set up machinery, including loading materials, adjusting tooling.
- Operate cranes and forklifts as needed for material handling within the manufacturing environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and document production activities accurately.
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines, press brakes.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading is required.
- Ability to use hand tools, calipers, and other measurement devices for quality inspection.
- Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations during setup and operation.
- Experience with crane operation and forklift driving is a plus but not mandatory. This position requires a dedicated individual with mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
