Overview
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Cook / Chef to join our culinary team. This role involves preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve dishes efficiently and courteously to guests or service staff
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure quality
- Collaborate with team members to meet service deadlines during busy hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within restaurants or the food industry
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Strong skills in meal preparation, plating, and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn
- Passion for culinary arts and a desire to grow within the food service industry
Pay: $17.00-$25.95 per hour
