Duties
- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain gas piping systems in commercial and residential settings using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installation plans.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while handling materials and equipment necessary for system setup.
- Conduct system testing to ensure safety compliance and optimal performance of gas appliances and pipelines.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to assemble components, perform plumbing tasks, and execute carpentry work related to gas system installations.
- Use basic math skills to measure materials accurately and calculate system requirements.
- Follow all safety protocols related to HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), plumbing, and gas fitting regulations to protect yourself and others.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical systems installation or maintenance within construction or HVAC fields.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques relevant to building supports or enclosures for gas systems.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings essential for precise installations.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on construction sites or in confined spaces.
- Valid commercial driver’s license preferred for transporting materials or equipment between job sites.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for accurate system setup.

Pay: $100.00-$300.00 per hour
