FULL TIME & PART TIME. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced <COOKS> to join our culinary team. The ideal candidates will have a STRONG background in Asian food service, kitchen operations, and dietary support, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
- Assist with menu planning to meet nutritional and dietary needs
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation standards
- Serve meals to residents or customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and equipment sanitization
- Support catering events and special meal services as needed
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and presentation
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality food service experiences
- Follow all food safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation of food preparation activities
Requirements
- Prior experience in dietary services, culinary arts, or food industry roles
- Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation techniques, and kitchen safety standards
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation and cooking methods
- Experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with food handling regulations, sanitation practices, and food safety certifications preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed for meal service schedules
