Carpenter (2–3 Years Experience)

Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Carpenter with 2–3 years of hands-on construction experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial construction and be capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.
- Perform framing, finishing, and general carpentry work.
- Construct and install concrete forms for foundations, slabs, and walls.
- Install siding, decking, fencing, and other exterior components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
- Assist with renovation, restoration, and general construction projects.
- Perform material handling, site preparation, and cleanup.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and building codes.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of carpentry or construction experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with framing, concrete forming, siding, and finishing carpentry.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are considered an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating construction equipment.
- Basic welding experience is an asset.
- Experience with residential decks, fences, pergolas, or exterior carpentry is an asset.
