Job Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant Level II, where your expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team. This role involves assisting with a variety of dental procedures, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient. This role would also include some administrative activities such as accounts receivable, preparation of treatment/payment plans, insurance estimates. We are a busy family practice that treats patients of all ages.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
- Assist dentist during procedures such as restorative, surgical and endodontic procedures
- Manage patient records using dental practice management software (Dentrix) for accuracy and confidentiality
- Take digital xrays and intra oral scans
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, instrument sterilization, treatment plan creation, insurance estimates
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role with knowledge of dental assisting best practices
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix
- Familiarity with invisalign procedures, pediatric dentistry, and medical terminology related to oral health
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children in pediatric dentistry settings
- Certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited program; HARP certification
- Experience working as a dental receptionist or in front office support is advantageous

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
