Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Estimator/Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in preparing accurate project bids, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless project execution. Duties
- Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements using Bluebeam and HeavyBid software.
- Collaborate with general contractor, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to gather pricing information and negotiate terms to secure competitive bids.
- Develop comprehensive project budgets and schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.

- Coordinate with project managers to review bid proposals, scope of work, and project timelines for accuracy and feasibility.
- Assist in the review of contracts and change orders, providing insights on pricing adjustments and risk management.
- Monitor project progress post-award to ensure adherence to estimated costs and timelines; update estimates as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain organized records of all estimating documents, correspondence, and project data for future reference.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Bluebeam Revu for markup and document management.
- Expertise in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or equivalent tools.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with clients and subcontractors.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies.
- Effective project management capabilities with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and contract administration.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical documents. Pay: $1,250.00-$1,635.00 per week
