Dream Nannies & Caregivers is hiring on behalf of a family in Surrey, BC seeking a Support–Focused Nanny. The family has two daughters, aged 3,5 years and 9 months.
The parents are the primary caregivers. The nanny’s main responsibility is supporting the mother , with childcare assistance as needed.
Pet: One large, friendly Doberman (comfort with big dogs required)
Key Responsibilities
- support for the mother
- Cooking family meals and full kitchen cleanup
- Light housekeeping and tidying play areas
- Feeding the family dog
- Childcare support during naps, showers, short outings, and brief appointments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience with infants and preschool-aged children (_with verifiable references in Canada)_
- Eligible to work in Canada (applicants must live in the Greater Vancouver area)
- Comfortable cooking family meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Comfortable around large dogs
- Calm, patient, and kind
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Follows routines and takes direction well
- Enjoys reading, play-based learning, and supporting families
- Open to feedback and clear communication
Schedule :
between Thursday and Saturday from 2 to 8 pm (for the 12-18 hours a week)
Wage : $20–$28/hour, based on experience
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
