To be considered for this position, applicants must:
✅ Be willing to transport clients using their own reliable vehicle. Mileage compensation is paid whenever you transport a client in your personal vehicle.
✅ Be physically capable of safely performing personal care, transfers, repositioning, bed care, and assisting clients with mobility.
✅ Be available to work at least 50% of weekends each month.
✅ Be available for a combination of day, evening, overnight, and holiday shifts as required.

Position
Part-Time Personal Support Worker / Caregiver
20-35 hours a week

· Health Care Aides
· Experienced caregivers who are passionate about providing exceptional care
Responsibilities
As part of the Royalty Care team, you will provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, including:
· Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene)
· Bed care and repositioning
· Incontinence care and toileting assistance
· Safe transfers using proper body mechanics
· Hoyer lift transfers (an asset)
· Medication reminders
· Meal preparation and feeding assistance
· Light housekeeping and laundry
· Companionship and emotional support
· Escorting clients to appointments, shopping, errands, and community outings
· Driving clients using your own vehicle (mileage compensation provided)
· Observing and reporting changes in client condition
· Completing documentation accurately and communicating with the office
Qualifications
· PSW, DSW, SSW, Health Care Aide, Nursing Student (after first year), or another Health Sciences diploma or degree
· Caregiving experience preferred (experienced caregivers without certification will also be considered)
· Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
· Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence
· Reliable personal vehicle
· Current automobile insurance
· Comfortable transporting clients when required
· Smartphone with a data plan
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Compassionate, dependable, and professional
· Physically capable of performing personal care, transfers, repositioning, and bed care safely
Employment Requirements
Employment is conditional upon:
· Successful Police Vulnerable Sector Check
· Legal authorization to work in Canada
· Proof of required certifications
· Satisfactory employment references
Pay: $19.00-$20.50 per hour
