Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Framer Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role involves working with various materials and tools to construct frameworks for buildings, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to project specifications.
Duties
- Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
- Operate heavy equipment for tasks such as concrete forming and site preparation.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete framing tasks.
- Install drywall, siding, and other materials as needed for project completion.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project delivery.
- Restore or repair existing structures as required by project specifications.
Skills
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation related to construction tasks.
- Strong knowledge of concrete forming techniques.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Experience with drywall installation and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with siding installation practices.
- Solid carpentry skills, including framing techniques and material selection.
- Competence in using various hand tools and power tools safely.
DRIVERS LICENSE AND MEANS OF TRAVEL ARE REQUIRED.
