Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and lead a team in delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to achieve sales goals and uphold company standards
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control
- Oversee merchandising efforts to ensure attractive product displays that maximize sales opportunities
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Implement marketing strategies to increase store traffic and sales performance
- Manage POS systems, pricing strategies, and purchasing activities to optimize profit margins
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, policies, and performance expectations
- Monitor sales data and prepare reports for senior management to inform decision-making
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and health standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales management with supervising or leadership roles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency in POS systems, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and basic math skills
- Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing techniques, and store management best practices
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff, and team management
- Ability to handle cash handling accurately and perform administrative tasks efficiently
- Leadership qualities with a focus on motivating teams and fostering a positive work environment
- Strong negotiation skills with vendors and suppliers for purchasing needs
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and sales management strategies
