Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain product displays through merchandising and landscape maintenance techniques to ensure an attractive store environment
- Provide knowledgeable advice on gardening, horticulture, and landscaping products to enhance customer satisfaction
- Support e-commerce initiatives by assisting with online orders and inquiries when needed
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and organize merchandise for optimal presentation
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, addressing concerns or questions promptly
- Assist in store promotions and marketing efforts to increase sales
Experience
- Prior retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures is advantageous
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, or merchandising is a plus
- Multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively
- Strong communication skills in English are essential; additional language skills are beneficial
- Organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are important for success in this role
Pay: $18.20-$18.25 per hour
