We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate QA Engineer to join our growing team in Quebec City. In this role, you will help ensure our products meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, security, and user experience through comprehensive testing and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Review business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test plans and testing strategies.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies to promote quality throughout development.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements.
- Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and testing standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
- Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Experience using bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic understanding of SQL and database validation.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
- Knowledge of performance and load testing tools.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
- ISTQB or other software testing certifications are considered an asset.
- Experience testing cloud-based or SaaS applications.
