Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Sign Shop Staff member to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing and producing high-quality signage and visual materials that meet client specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital and graphic design, with proficiency in various design tools and software. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects in a collaborative environment focused on innovation and quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate HP 300, 570 and 530 flatbed latex printers
- Install/apply vinyl to ACP and other substrates
- Ability to use hand tools
- Installation of indoor and outdoor graphics, perf, vinyl etc
- Develop compelling visual designs for signage, banners, and displays using Adobe Creative Suite, and other graphic design tools
- Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and execute visual design projects from start to finish
- Maintain consistency in visual style across all projects while adhering to project deadlines
- Prepare files for production, ensuring compatibility with printing or fabrication processes
- Stay updated on current trends in digital design, marketing, and signage technology
Experience
- Proven experience with a strong portfolio showcasing signage, branding, or motion graphics work
- Familiarity with typography principles and visual design best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
