Matrix HR is actively seeking experienced Journeyperson and Apprentice Electricians for upcoming commercial and industrial projects in Saskatoon and Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Position Details
- Location: Saskatoon & Yorkton, SK
- Position: Commercial & Industrial Electrician
- Journeyperson Pay: $42.26/hour
- Apprentice Pay: $21.13–$33.80/hour, based on experience and apprenticeship level
- Night Shift Premium: 16%
- Vacation Pay: 8%
- Shift: 9:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule: Sunday night through Thursday night
- Overtime: Available based on project requirements

Responsibilities
- Perform commercial and industrial electrical installations.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Install conduit, cable tray, wiring, lighting systems, and electrical equipment.
- Complete electrical work for renovations, upgrades, and new construction projects.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems as required.
- Maintain a safe work environment while ensuring all work complies with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate or registered Apprentice Electrician with proof of apprenticeship hours and completion of relevant education blocks.
- Valid Working at Heights certification.
- Valid AWP/MEWP (Lift) certification.
- Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and productivity.
- Experience on renovation and new construction projects is considered an asset.
Requirements
- Available to work permanent night shifts.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Additional site-specific safety certifications may be required prior to starting.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Pay: Up to $49.02 per hour
