Summary:
G-Force Security is seeking a reliable and professional Emergency Alarm Responder to join our team in Trenton, Ontario. In this role, you will respond promptly to alarm activations, assess situations, investigate security concerns, and help ensure the safety of people and property. The ideal candidate is dependable, calm under pressure, and committed to providing fast, effective emergency response while delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to alarm activations and emergency calls.
- Assess situations and take appropriate action.
- Coordinate with emergency services and site personnel when required.
- Communicate clearly with management, clients, and first responders.
- Monitor alarm systems and identify potential security or safety concerns.
- Complete accurate incident reports and documentation.
- Follow established safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification is an asset.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Previous security, alarm response, or emergency services experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to stand, walk, and respond quickly during shifts.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to assess situations under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of emergency procedures, alarm systems, and incident reporting is an asset.
