Job Summary
Lantzville Wellness Centre is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality massage therapy treatments, support clients in achieving their health and wellness goals, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will possess:
- Provide high-quality massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct client assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Educate clients on self-care, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with Physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards of practice.
- Foster positive therapeutic relationships and contribute to a welcoming clinic environment.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
- Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia (CCHPBC).
- Eligibility to practice as a Registered Massage Therapist in British Columbia.
- Excellent assessment, treatment planning, and manual therapy skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A professional, compassionate, and patient-centred approach to care.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Previous experience in private practice is considered an asset.
