Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments by inspecting deliveries, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and documenting receipt details.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products accurately for delivery or transfer.
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks safely to load and unload heavy pallets and materials.
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and report shortages or damages promptly.
- Assist with order picking and fulfillment processes for e-commerce orders, ensuring timely dispatch to customers or distribution centers.
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking, and load & unload procedures.
- Certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and proper packaging techniques.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
- Ability to perform order fulfillment tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and documentation.
