Occupational therapy practice looking for a part-time or subcontracted Occupational Therapist to assist with overflow client files on a flexible, per-file basis.
The role may include occupational therapy assessments, home/community visits, client interviews, clinical documentation, report writing, recommendations, and follow-up communication. This is a good fit for an OT who is organized, clinically confident, and looking for flexible additional work.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting OT assessments in the community and/or home setting
Completing clear, professional reports within agreed timelines
Providing client-centered recommendations
Communicating professionally with clients, families, and referral sources
Maintaining proper documentation and confidentiality standards
Requirements:
Registered and in good standing with the appropriate provincial OT regulatory college
Professional liability insurance
Strong written communication and report-writing skills
Ability to work independently
Access to a vehicle for community/home visits, if applicable
