Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS) is a settlement agency providing a wide range of services to immigrants and refugees regardless of their religion, ethnicity, country of origin, immigration status, sexual orientation, or political affiliation.
We are searching for a full-time Project Worker to who will be responsible for supporting the set-up of the project and for implementation of program activities.

Support the Project Lead with the planning coordination, implementation and monitoring of project activities
Work with the project lead to analyze challenges faced by service providers, refugee sponsorship groups, and resettled refugees, and collaboratively devise solutions to bridge service gaps
Assist with the facilitation of an Advisory Table including preparing meeting materials, documenting discussions, and following up on action items
Lead the planning, coordination, and facilitation of capacity-building workshops, webinars, and training sessions for settlement service providers, refugee sponsorship groups, and community partners
Support the Project Lead and work with consultant and participating agencies to develop, refine and disseminate practical tools, resources and guides that respond to stakeholders needs
Take the lead to effectively update and use digital platforms to enhance the project
Support project outreach and stakeholder engagement by preparing promotional materials, coordinating communications, and maintaining relationships with project partners and participants
Support the design and implementation of stakeholder feedand evaluation processes, including surveys and other engagement tools
Work with the project lead on the preparation of statistics and reports as required
What are we looking for?
1 to 3 years of experience, preferably in a non-profit or community sector environment with a focus on settlement, sponsorship group community, and refugee support
Strong knowledge of government funding processes
Experience planning, organizing, and facilitating meetings, workshops, or training sessions.
Location: Scarborough, ON
Compensation: $30.54-$33.99 based on experience
Hours of work: 35 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and occasional overtime is required
