Corporate Travel Agent
Overview
An amazing, yet rare, opportunity currently exists for an experienced corporate travel agent to join our dynamic team in the role of Corporate Travel Consultant (CTC). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an established portfolio of corporate accounts. In your role of CTC, you will be assigned to specific clients and manage their travel portfolio; no call centre work! You will be responsible for building and maintaining a solid relationship and rapport as you manage their travellers needs from enquiry through to their arrival home including, but not limited to booking flights, hotels and rental cars.
This full time, permanent position will see you earn a competitive salary plus uncapped commission opportunities, along with a full benefits package and travel perks; on target first year earnings are expected to be $60,000+. You will be provided with all the necessary tools to perform your duties successfully, and you will work remotely from the comfort of your own space. This role is structured on a full time, 40hr working week.
Sales Requirements
- Work with Executives and their Executive Assistants to arrange corporate travel requirements
- Provide the highest level of customer service before, during and after the client’s trip
- Maintain excellent client relationships and ensure effective client communication
General Administration & System Requirements
- Maintain clean and accurate records of reservations in Sabre 360
- Maintain database of clients and ensure records are kept accurately up to date
- Maintain effective and efficient communication with the accounting department
- Attend and complete training where required
- You must provide your own reliable internet connection
Team Requirements
- Attend a monthly one-on-one review either virtually or in-person
- Work towards meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Provide assistance to other team members’ accounts when they are away from the office
Experience Requirements
- Successful candidates will have proven experience working with the Sabre 360 system; please do not apply if you have never worked as a travel agent or with Sabre
- Travel Agent work experience of at least 3 years as a corporate travel consultant
- Exceptional history of customer serviced focus travel sales
- Ticketing experience is an asset
